Where it all began
The Flower Archive began with a deeply personal project: preserving the flowers from my late grandmother’s funeral wreath.
At the time, I had no specialist equipment or experience. Armed with little more than books, baking paper and determination, I carefully pressed each bloom in the hope of holding onto a small piece of something so meaningful.
I wasn’t trying to start a business - I simply didn’t want those flowers, and the memories they carried, to disappear.
Discovering a passion
That first project sparked something I never expected.
I immersed myself in learning the art of flower preservation, spending countless hours researching techniques, experimenting with different flowers and investing in professional equipment to refine my process.
Every piece taught me something new, gradually shaping the careful approach that defines my work today.
Why The Flower Archive?
Flowers are there for so many of life’s most meaningful moments.
They celebrate weddings, welcome new babies, honour loved ones, mark anniversaries, and often become part of memories we never want to forget.
My aim is to preserve those flowers in a way that feels timeless and understated - creating botanical artwork that reflects the beauty of the flowers themselves rather than following trends.
The name The Flower Archive reflects what I hope each piece becomes: a carefully preserved archive of one of life’s most meaningful moments.
Every commission is individually designed, pressed and thoughtfully arranged to become a lasting keepsake for years to come.
Beyond weddings
Although many of my commissions are wedding bouquets, The Flower Archive is about so much more than weddings.
I also preserve memorial flowers, anniversary bouquets, birthday blooms, retirement bouquets, flowers grown in family gardens and any collection that carries personal meaning.
Your flowers deserve to be enjoyed long after the occasion itself.
A little about me
When I’m not working on commissions, I’m usually planning new designs, pressing flowers for future pieces, or spending time with my partner and our rescue dog, Archie.
I believe the simplest designs are often the most beautiful, and that every flower has its own character worth celebrating.
That philosophy shapes every piece I create.
